Portion of Vickilee Road in Chesterfield County to close for pipe replacement project
RICHMOND – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Route 1454 (Vickilee Road) between Route 1457 (Ronaldton Road) and Route 1456 (Cherylann Road) in Chesterfield County for a pipe replacement project at 1008 Vickilee Road. The daytime closure will be Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Residents will be able to access their property throughout the operation.
Through-traffic drivers should follow the posted detours:
- Southbound Traffic: Travel east on Ronaldton Road then south on Route 1453 (Francill Drive) then west on Cherylann Road back to Vickilee Road
- Northbound Traffic: Travel east on Cherylann Road then north on Francill Drive then west on Ronaldton Road back to Vickilee Road
